APPLICATION PROCEDURE AIESEC proudly bring to you three categories for applying for AIESEC in this March Regional Recruitment 1. AIESEC Member Applying for AIESEC Member means you are willing to work in our organization. AIESEC is the international platform for you to explore and develop your leadership potential so as to have a positive impact on the society. When becoming an AIESEC member, you will have full access to our leadership opportunities as well as global learning environment. Selection process for Membership 1/3 – 31/3 Application form Assessment Center 9/4, 10/4, 16/4, 17/4 Application Form: The application form is available in Candidate Package. Fulfill the information and questions in Membership Questions section in application form and submit to [email protected] before 11.59pm, 31st March 2011. 1 Candidate Booklet|AIESEC REGIONAL RECRUITMENT|Hochiminh City Region Assessment Center: After passing Application round, candidates will be informed venue and time for Assessment Center (one of 4 days above). This round includes Activities and Interview to assess candidates’ competencies. Final result will be announced from 3 to 4 days after closing round. 2. Exchange Participant Applying for Exchange Participant means you are willing to attend AIESEC Global Internship Program, which is the most intense learning experience that we offer and link together our global network. Exchange Participant will have chances to work abroad in international projects with foreigners, explore and challenge himself/herself in totally new environments. Suitable candidates for Exchange Participant must fulfill these conditions:  Students or fresh graduates not more than 2 years  Have good command of English  Good communication skill  Have financial capability to go abroad  Be available to take internship abroad in the next 6 months Selection process for Exchange Participant 16/4 or 17/4 1/3 – 31/3 Application form Pre Interview 10/4 Student Review Board 2 Candidate Booklet|AIESEC REGIONAL RECRUITMENT|Hochiminh City Region Application Form: The application form is available in Candidate Package. Fulfill the information and questions in Exchange Participant Questions section in application form and submit to [email protected] before 11.59pm, 31st March 2011. Pre-interview: After being informed for passing Application round, candidates are required to join Pre-interview through which they can show their suitability with our Global Internship Program. Student Review Board: Candidates who pass Pre-interview will advance to the Student Review Board (SRB) which includes both of interview and group discussion. Final result will be announced from 3 to 4 days after closing round. 3. Exchange Participant and AIESEC Member If you are willing to not only become an AIESEC member but also take an internship abroad, you can apply for Exchange Participant and AIESEC Member at the same time. Selection process for Exchange Participant and AIESEC Member 16/4 or 17/4 1/3 – 31/3 Application form Assessment Center Student Review Board 9/4 or 10/4 Application Form: The application form is available in Candidate Package. FUNCTION INTRODUCTION This session supports candidates in AIESEC activity understanding and making a right choice for their future work in AIESEC. The functions listed below are currently core functions in AIESEC. More activities and functions can be opened in future based on demand. 1. Outgoing Exchange (OGX) This team is responsible for recruiting and managing Vietnamese students to send them to overseas for doing internship. 1. Team Job Description  Promoting exchange opportunities on campus  Organizing interview and selection process and taking part in the Selection Review Board.  Helping and providing selected students with matching training  Organizing training events for students to prepare for their internships  Ensure that EPs (Exchange Participant) are integrated into the AIESEC abroad before and after returning from their internships. 2. Incoming Exchange (ICX) This team is responsible for marketing AIESEC Exchange Program to external partners and providing internship opportunities in Vietnam for international graduates. 1. Team Job Description  Do market research to segment the market and point out the targeted sectors  Business calls and business meetings for selling AIESEC internship program to companies  Attend Networking events to promote AIESEC internship program to potential partners  Facilitate the delivery of interns to companies  Help organizations and trainees in traineeship preparation  Help in trainees integration  First meeting of companies and interns  Assistance for companies and interns in process of evaluation forms filling  Follow-up of traineeship  Re-raising of companies after internship 2. Team Job Description  Maintaining a healthy financial situation in LC, through planning, budgeting, allocating, controlling, reviewing financial activities  Analyzing on internal (e.g. functional performance, budgets) and external to identify the opportunities and threats for development of LC  Coordinating all activities’ resources to ensure a sustainable development for LC in long-term  Ensuring a healthy status of LC in legal and regulations. 2.
